ExtJS has problems with Eric Meyer's Reset CSS 2.0 (http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/). I thought ExtJS had its own ways of resetting browser style defaults. So, does it mean Meyer's reset.css has some rules that are not covered by ExtJS css reset codes and thus causing weird layout behavior?

Ext uses its own reset and sohaving both of them on the same page could lead to some weird results.

If you're about to embed Ext in an existing page you should better use the scoped version of ExtJS. From the docs:

scopeResetCSS (http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#!/api/Ext-property-scopeResetCSS) : Boolean (http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#!/api/Boolean)
True to scope the reset CSS to be just applied to Ext components. Note that this wraps root containers with an additional element. Also remember that when you turn on this option, you have to use ext-all-scoped

So you have to use ext-all-scoped.js instead of ext-all.js, you'll have to set Ext.scopeResetCSS = true in your init script and you'll have to use ext-all-scoped.css instead of ext-all.css.
