View Full Version : Ext JS 4.0.7 displays a validation error even when data entered is correct

Row editor in my grid control is displaying a validation error when the data is correct in the fields. I have a grid control where I enter default values to two fields automatically, based on what was saved on the previous record in the grid. It just adds one to the each field value in row editor. There is a validation which checks if the first number is more than second number (it is ok when both are equal to each other).

I am using 'beforeedit' event for the grid to enter default values into the two fields. Therefore, there shouldn't be any validation errors displayed as both the values auto entered are equal to each other.

The problem started when we updated our ExtJs version to 4.0.7. Previously, it was working as expected. I suspect that this could be a bug with the new version of ExtJS and would appreciate your help on this problem.

Thanks in advance...

If you inspect the variables in the beforeedit event, are they as expected?
Perhaps something silly like 123 === '123' scenario

Have you tried this on 4.1.1 RC2?

Scott.
