Hi,

We are trying to build an application with offline capabilities and we considered Sencha EXTJS 4.x, can we have functionalities work without having the server running on user's local environment with the data that's locally available?

Functionalities include parsing the data, export/import data, saving data etc.

Your help & quick response will be highly appreciated

Thanks
YN

Using HTML5 browser you can use local storage proxy on the store to save data to local storage which can be accessed offline.

Thanks for your reply on the previous query, we have couple of other things which I think, you will of great help

1) Is there an API or plugin available which facilitates Export data into Excel/TXT/CSV format?
2) what would be the best way to import data into EXTJS application from an Excel or Txt or any other format, we would like to achieve this being offline?
3) How can I save my store into JSON/XLS/TXT file?
4) Can we invoke a java class by using proxy of store locally without having a server running on local?
5) Is HTML5 supported by IE8?

Thanks in advance...
