Hi all,
I'm working on a simple app where I want to save data locally on the device from one or two textfields present in the form so that next time I launch the app, it checks for data in localstorage. I've checked it on the web but they are using 'model/store' everywhere with proxy set to 'localstorage'. Is there any simple way like the way they do it in HTML5 instead of going 'model/store' way? I tried the HTML5 approach ( localstorage.getItem, localstorage.setItem ........) in my Sencha Touch .js files but it didn't work. Can someone please help me with a simple example setting data locally from one/two textfields and getting it later from localstorage. Thanks all for having a look..

localStorage.setItem / getItem should work
