Combobox with internal hyperlinks

Does anyone know if it is possible to include hyperlinks within a GXT combobox? I have the following implementation, where a user would select one of the names. The IDs (numbers) on the right are hyperlinks, defined in the template attached to the combobox.

However, clicking on one of the ID hyperlinks causes a select event to occur, before the link is followed. Ideally, the ID links on the right side would open new browser windows, while leaving the combobox unselected.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi.

You might want to try add a BeforeSelect event listener to the grid in your combobox:Fires before a row is selected. Listeners can cancel the action by calling setCancelled(true)

Then, the row won't be selected, and your link can react, without the combobox change its value.

Give it a try.
