View Full Version : [FIXED] BUG: data editor of Ext.data.proxy.Memory does not correctly handle escape characters

We discovered a bug in the data editor -- if the last character of a quoted string is double-backslash '\\'

For example, we've created a simplified example and attached to this report. The following data -object get's munged

[
{
"field":"\\Hello (file://\\Hello)"
},
{
"field":"World\\"
}
]

Specifically, the second record drops one slash. This results in an error in the deployed project:

SyntaxError: unterminated string literal

field: 'World\"ext-all.js (line 49, col 23)

Just wanted to provide further info -- this bug still exists in build 609 (the release available this morning)
