Why does ExtJS print preview/final is so different than the screen?

I am using ExtJS to build reports, charts and applications, because it's the user experience is lot better than old asp, html pages.
But when the user tries to print what he is looking at the screen, even if it is a small ext grid with different background colors, the end result is awful.
I am not talking about solving the problem of printing an extjs gridpanel, I am talking of any extjs application.
Is there a way to do this or is not even considered for the future? :((

All these sites are for converting the DOM page to an image, specifically screen shots.
My question was more about File->Print (to the printer)
Maybe some would say, paper is no longer used, but I can't tell that to the managers.
So I would have to build printable reports in some other tool than ExtJS?
Which one would you recommend?
