Displaying Text Box in grid cell

Hi every one!!

Can any one please let me know how to display the value in text box inside the grid cell.
But not cell editing, cell editing shows the text box once you click on the cell. i want to show the text box all time inside the cell. I know we can display using the HTML template, is there any other go than this.
i'll appreciate all helps.

You can use renderer to render HTML markup for input element, such as:


columns: [{
header: "Name",
dataIndex: 'name',
renderer: function(value){
return '<input type="text" value="' + value +'" />';
}
}]

BTW, I have written a component that allows to embed components in grid cells also. Have a look at Its.grid.column.Component (http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?174504-Its.grid.column.Component-Component-Column-for-Ext-4.0.7).
