View Full Version : Ext.state.Manager.setProvider(...) - Cookies maximum size?

Hi,

I noticed that when I use older versions of Internet Explorer (pre IE 9) that my web app fails to execute properly, it appears that the cookie information passed to the server suddenly drops the JSESSIONID. I suspect that perhaps I've gone over the maximum size permitted for a cookie and therefore the JSESSIONID gets truncated?

My server then detects that there's no JSESSIONID and treats this as a logged off user.

I'm going to try to use the local storage provider, which is great for HTML 5 compliant browsers, but
is there a way to either increase the maximum size for the cookie data?

Any advice is hugely appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob.

Or maybe there's a bug in ExtJS where only the state information is sent to the server, ignoring the usual cookie information (i.e. JSESSIONID)?
