Set text in textarea (simple solution?)

This might be a really easy questions but I cant figure out how to set the text in a textarea. All I can do is set exampleText but I'd like to have the textarea pop up with something in in which the user can edit

You can set value config when creating a new instance of textarea config or use <textareaInstance>.setValue('textarea content').

thanks! The fact that that method took type 'value' instead of 'string' threw me off I guess, shoulda just tried it anyway
