.33 Dependencies

Wow...so I see that version .33 has been discontinued.

Does that mean that it is no longer supported? We've developed our entire site in .33 with much success. I would love to upgrade to 1.0 when it's out, but there are a bunch of breaking changes that won't make that possible any time soon.

I've used your "Build Your Own" tab in the download dialog on Jack's site to figure out which file depends on which. We don't want to include all the files because we are only using a fraction of the the components in this library. How can I go about figuring out dependencies?????

We would like to use the Tree and Layout manager now, but I can't figure out which files I need and which I don't.

How are others going about this?

Sure....questions being answered, but Jack has been very helpful by creating fix's as problems arise.

I can't see Jack having the time or inclination to fix things in the 0.33 branch when Ext 1.0 is moving so fast, and the upgrade path is relatively smooth.

I would guess that you can probably get help/fixes on specific issues in .33, especially things that are bugs. However, as Animal said, there's really no case for continuing to maintain it beyond that.

Regarding the Treeview, that component was introduced with the 1.0 release and is not compatible with .33, so you would have to upgrade to make use of it anyway. I totally understand not being able to upgrade from the project/logistical standpoint, but once you can afford to move onto 1.0 you'll see that quite a bit has changed for the better!
