Project Management Advice

Hey Everybody,

I am undertaking a medium size project with a team of three people, out project utilizes EXT, PHP and a MySQL Database. I am not exactly sure how to document this project. I don’t believe in over documentation but I do feel that some documentation is necessary.

I just wanted to get some thoughts on the types of documentation that are necessary for the project.

Also what is the best way to document code for a web based project? Are there any good tools for documenting source code (PHP Javascript HTML)?

If anyone has any or knows of any examples of documentation that they feel like sharing I would love to have a look.

Any other hints or advice on project management Eg, Version Control would be much appreciated.
