Hi,

Has anyone used the Ext HTML Editor with a Notes rich text field in Ext.nd? If so, how did it work? Was it reliable? Is there any sample code for how to configure this available?

Alternatively, are there other rich text editors you've used with Ext.nd?

Thanks,
Jim

We are currently working on providing a simple way to use the HTMLEditor with Notes rich text. There are definitely some Notes oddities that we need to work around. I need to double check, but I think Jack has it working well enough to make it into our next release.

Can you share the code you or Jack used to work around the HTMLEditor issues?
Thanks.

Since my application only needs the HTMLEditor for a small group of administrators, for now, I'm having them place a square bracket "[" at the beginning of the content. This seems to work for my purposes.

But if you do have the workaround, I'm still interested in that too.
Thanks.

All depends what you want to do with it -- if you're just using text formatting (no pictures or anything), just use the rich text field like you would a normal one.
