Since you made the combo box run off the datastore and other components as well it makes sense to me to have a supersized calendar that is bound to a datastore. This would be a calendar that displays datastore items (which can have their own click events etc.). I have no idea how hard it would be to implement but since your library is so incredibly useful for portal developers I think this widget would be an instant hit. The market is really lacking in unhosted calendar software and companies like mine certainly aren't going to outsource this kind of thing. We have so much custom data that could fit nicely into a beautiful js calendar widget (inside a CalendarPanel?) and I have yet to find something on the market that can do this for us to our expectations.
Thoughts?

I had the same experience about the lack of unhosted calendar software. There are a few but not very good and I found them hard to adjust to our needs.
We decided to create our own "Supersized calendar", see the screenshot here: http://www.visionproject.se/docs/Calendar-project-page.jpg and the plan was actually to "contribute" it to Ext when we had learned more about the internals of Ext.
It is currently done with Velocity (server-side) but it shouldn't be that hard to do it in Javascript instead. Of course, Day/Week/Next n days/Program has to be added as well... Not that hard I think.
Thanks,
Tommy

Bernard, could you please update your signature so that you refer to the latest docs instead of a previous? Just so that new-comers don't get it wrong

Yup this deffinitly would be a nice addon to Ext. I think after a WYSIWYG editor my most wanted feature request.
It shouldn't be that hard to code since you can combine a lot (data grid, date picker etc).
I haven't been using Ext th

Care to post an example and some code? People like me aren't smart enough to put all the date handling and rendering in.
