Is the Grid Drag and Drop feature been discontinued? Or is this going to be re-introduced in a later version?

when i showed my coworkers the column d&d rearrange stuff the immediately response was

"are you sure that this stuff is done in javascript?"

Guess you'll be doing the impossible again Jack!
