DnD from the desktop to the browser as well as 'browse' dialog box are both already implemented! :)

The most unique attribute of BrowserPlus is its ability to update and add new services on the fly without a browser restart or even reloading the page! As a user, this means no more installers to run or losing your place on the web. For developers, you can check for and activate new services with a single function call, pending user approval - we handle the complexity of software distribution and updates for you.

Firefox 2.0 or later
Internet Explorer 7

... and? IE6 needs to die a fast death. If only the corporate world would let off it's foothold of that browser.

...agree...I was just having this "corporate world" in mind...it's way too slow when it comes to adapting new trends/technologies...

I feel you dude. My biggest contracts are for large corporations. The project i'm working now... Ext is a quantum leap from the current platform - but they use IE6.

None the less, i'm excited about this because I do have several small business customers that can utilize this right off the bat! :)

if only we could do a

Ext.getIEBrowser(new RegExp('IE\d(\.\d)?')).destroy();

The BrowserPlus demos all seemed to fail for me. They've lost me I'm afraid.

this is off the chain! dnd from the desktop worked in FF for the mac (which is not as tied as Safari - like windows and IE). This is the isht!!

I rely on VMs for testing different IE's :(

Thank you sir ;)

You'll be frustrated w/ the nuances of OS X but it's a better over all computing experience. :) I compiled apache and PHP for develoment and am running mysql. I really love unix anyway, os x is icing on the cake. ;)

Buy parallels and you can keep windows around for a while for testing/etc. ;)
