Can A TreeTable Be Edited?

Can a TreeTable widget be made editable so that in-place cell editing is supported similar to a Table?

Table and Tree do not currently have inplace editing, though I believe it is planned - see http://extjs.com/products/gxt/roadmap.php

I don't see it in the plan. Will somebody with svn access write here if there is some progress with TreeTable?? ... to rewrite it to TreeGrid and allow editing like in EditorGrid ... and so on. Thanks
