As you might have noticed the new website has quotes in place on the site. We would like to add additional quotes, so we are asking the community to provide quotes we can use.

Please include a short quote, the name to display and (if applicable) a company to display.

Thanks everyone!

I have had the opportunity to review the architecture and design of the Ext UI components and believe it represents an excellent direction for rich, ajax-powered web applications. Also, the unique extensible architecture that the Ext UI offers will be a valuable asset for anyone writing web-based applications to take advantage of.

The ease of use of the ext-js widgets allows anyone to add instant value and functionality to their website with relative ease. Whether you're new to client side scripting or a seasoned developer, ext-js provides immediate out of the box results providing excellent documentation and great functional examples. Ext-js has allowed bebekisses.com to out shine our competition by providing our customers the ability to review product color options with elegance.

The Ext components are a real enabler for providing fat client-like functionality with web applications. With the grid, tree, and layout components, developers can finally build true multi-pane web applications without the headaches previously involved in doing so. Ext is going to revolutionize how applications are built for the web.

The Ext library enabled us to create a rich and intuitive user interface for out management applications. With this library we can now develop our applications in a way we didn't think possible before while saving time.

Ext is not just a tool kit or another pretty face - it is genius! To be able to get access to a set of tools and advanced design patterns in working form (not some book) is amazing. At the cost of a few development hour per developer - we can all have genius websites.

There is no better tool and no better ROI.

Thanks Jack for sharing your genius.

ExtJS is just great!! It's stable, easy, fun, nicely documented and very good supported by the developers and community. Still it's getting better all the time. This is a framework with a bright future.

Javascript, meet User Interface. Ext-JS is the Javascript-equivalent of Java's Swing GUI. Except it's much more friendly and intuitive -- built with excellent design patterns and extensibility! Brilliant work, Jack!

I adopted Ext back when 0.33 Alpha was released. To my surprise I didn't have to change a single line of code all the way through to version 1.0.1 stable. This should tell a lot about the engineering techniques that these guys are employing in the development of Ext, and the reliability that Ext offers even for long term projects like mine. Ext is simply a dream come true, get to it fast, you don't want to miss this train!

I've converted to Ext JS from Microsoft Ajax.Net. Ext provides a much tighter, cleaner, full featured, and good looking framework than the Microsoft client framework, while integrating nicely into Microsoft's excellent server side support.

I almost started deploying my RIA in OpenLaszlo, when I found ExtJS. ExtJS offers a much more production-ready template to rapidly create dynamic applications on the web than OpenLaszlo with it's experimental DHTML engine (as of 4.06). An Eclipse plugin would be a welcome addition, though.

We are switching from using some undisclosed JSF framework to using ExtJS. We're all pretty excited about the results so far.

One of the guys on my team IM'd this to me. I thought it was just about the funniest thing I've read today. Used with permission:

"I feel like I used to be in an abusive relationship. My spouse would beat me and throw me down the stairs and conform to the JSF life-cycle, but I always thought it was my fault. Now I finally got away from that and found a loving, caring person named ExtJS...cares about my feelings...let me do what I want without making me feel guilty about it." -- Evan
