Hi Darrell

when compiling the lastest svn an error occures:

compile:
[mkdir] Created dir: C:\workspaces\pomop_main\gxt_svn\build\bin
[javac] Compiling 335 source files to C:\workspaces\pomop_main\gxt_svn\build\bin
[javac] C:\workspaces\pomop_main\gxt_svn\user\src\com\extjs\gxt\ui\client\widget\form\ModelPropertyEditor.java:47: java.lang.Object cannot be dereferenced
[javac] return value.get(displayProperty).toString();
[javac] ^
[javac] Note: Some input files use unchecked or unsafe operations.
[javac] Note: Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details.
[javac] 1 errorIn ModelPropertyEditor.java the method

public String getStringValue(Data value) {
return value.get(displayProperty).toString();
}
is responsible for that.

With this code it works

public String getStringValue(Data value) {
return ((Object)value.get(displayProperty)).toString();
}
But it seems to me not a very 'nice' solution. I would appreciate if we don't need to shut off such checkings on compiling. I think there should be a way to keep the code safe.

greets
Lars

This is fixed in SVN.
