Hey everyone,

I thought I would offere this tip.

I often search the members list forum by location for Ext developers, especially since we are hiring!

Here in Austin it's hard enough finding developers, but finding someone passionate and experienced using Ext is next to impossible.

I want to encourage everyone to put their city in the location part of thier membership profile. Since doing so, I know I have gotten a lot of interest from recruiters and various companies.

I am sure there is likely to be a lot of interest where ever you live since Ext is getting a lot of traction.

If you live in Austin or Freemont california and have interest in Ext UI development, drop me a line: simeon@simeonkessler.com.

I have friend that is a designer/illustrator (www.snerst.com) that creates these characters. I like to think of him as Dr. Seuss reincarnated, but I think he is way more talented then the master himself.

Considering your usage of images in the forum, I am thinking this link will be a treasure trove for you: snigs archive (http://www.snigs.com/ds_weeklist_2003.html)

My personal favorite is the "Tighty Whitey Yogi"

Indeed. He was making a different one of these characters every morning. He would hand draw it, scan it, and paint it in photoshop and have it online before showing up to work.

He is super talented in many ways. I kind of think its a shame he spends his days designing web applications.

Any book publishers out there????

I can't resist... :D

I found this little gem on the snigs weekly (http://www.snigs.com/sw_100404_101004.html):

The Pickle-Me-Pillow
I took me a nap on the Pickle-Me-Pillow
As vinegar winds blew a chill.

I dreamt in my slumber
Of kosher cucumber
And woke as a new baby dill.
