Is there any plan to support the HtmlEditor Field component soon? I really prefer using the GXT stuff to standard EXT, but that component is really needed. Also - how would I contribute new components to the framework - is there a guide for doing that?

I've created a few extensions for GXT - listed in the http://extjs.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32 - they would be a good place to start for creating more ;-)

Yeah - I can see that, but we are using the native EXTJS HtmlEditor component in a bunch of places and I was thinking I would like to adapt that or wait for it to be adapted for us. Anyone know if that is planned or how I would take a look at doing that myself?

Yes, this is planned but probably after 1.2.

Can I assist? I would love to help contribute to the project. I am a big believer and am having all my Enterprise clients use this stuff as their UI framework for portal and integrated UIs. Is there a good way to get involved?
