Anyone tried the SPKET IDE recently - it had a new release a few days ago:

The code assist and outline views are WAY better than in Aptana - for custom code and the Ext library.

It also has a really nice JSON editor with formatting.

I don't think I'll need Aptana any more.

I`ve been using SPKET for a while now. I`m using the older version, and that one already suited me very well. Maybe the new one will be even better, i`ll try tonight :)

We also use Spket and we find it really great. The support is also great.

I'm going to start toying with it. For those who want to see it used with Ext: http://www.spket.com/demos/js.html

How would you compare the speed for Spket vs Aptana. My biggest issue with Aptana is the speed it takes to load the application and manage multiple files.

Thats why I'm still using a light weight text editor with syntax highlighting or a lot of time I find my self in vi.

The speed is fine even with the biggest of ext's source files.
Spket is also much more stable over a longer time period.
The big benefit to me is the way advanced auto-complete even for config options.
