Hi guys,

I was thinking - extjs would be perfect for a bittorrent clients web interface.
There are loads of GPL bitttorrent clients out there, putting together a webgui in extjs and designed in a way that would allow easy integration with clients would be a great way to get publicity for extjs

I might have a stab at it, but I am a pretty newbie coder. Is there any obviuos reasons why extjs would suck for such an implimentation?

I don't see any issue with that. I'm assuming that the web interface would interop with the client to monitor downloads.

In what kind of situation is this useful?

yeah if you've ever seen the webinterface for utorrent you will see what I mean.

It's a rich UI that is just as functional as the winforms gui, yet you can be on the other side of the world controlling/monitoring your client remotely
