Hi,
Sometimes it's quite useful to have a chance to get the version of the library. Would it be possible to add a new static method getVersion() to the com.extjs.gxt.ui.client.GXT class? Something like that is already implemented in GWT, see com.google.gwt.core.client.GWT.getVersion() (it returns just the version string like "1.5.2").
