There are some fixes I want to get out of the SVN. Do only Premium members have access to the SVN? If not, what is the URL?

Thanks,

JP

SVN access is provided to support subscription holders.

It would be quite understandable to let access to everybody whereas it is an alpha version. It is not very fair. By evaluating your product, I contribute to report issues, and moreover it blocks me in the evaluation process.

Fair? They can do what they want, they are a private company. However, is it a bad business move? Yes. Because the scenario you described is exactly what happened. I discovered a bug by looking at the code, I then reported it, and now I'm told the fix is in the SVN.

The subscription is not expensive. Any student can afford it. If you are serious you can always afford it or make your mark suplying patches to public releases.

Maybe allow finders of verified bugs access to SVN so that they can get their fix. This would provide an incentive to find bugs :)
