As already discussed here http://extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43351 it would be very useful to have a revert function for the sort state of a grid panel that allows to go back to the initial order of the records that was send by the server.
in our specific use case we display a list of pages from a content management system in a grid panel. once sorted it is currently not possible to get back to the original/initial order that is the order of the pages in the content management system.
we want to allow reordering pages by drag&drop in the grid and with an active sorting (eg by modification date) the reordering results are not very clear to the user.
