Hello to all the users and coders!

For some months we've tried to integrate WYMeditor (http://wymeditor.org) into the Ext JS framework, and here is what we could do. This is version 0.1 with only some basic features, so there is much more to come.

I'm glad to present you the demo, which is here (http://wymeditor.ad-astra.name/wymeditor/test/ExtStart.html) (in fact, it is a little bit rewritten original Ext demo from Ext website), and the download packs with Ext included (http://wymeditor.ad-astra.name/files/wymeditor4ext_0.1_with_ext_pack.zip) and without Ext (http://wymeditor.ad-astra.name/files/wymeditor4ext_0.1_without_ext_pack.zip) in case you already have it. Comments, code corrections and suggestions are welcome!

Here is the page of the project: http://wymeditor.ad-astra.name/

basic functionality (HTML and source modes, some formatting and containers) implemented. Toolbars are in Ext style now, they need to be included in a window separately.
TODO: the editor itself is not written in DOM style, but there is some rough HTML executed here and there. So the authors could not manage to bind Ext events on the iframe properly, therefore the containers switcher does not indicate the current container so far. Hopefully this will be fixed in future releases. Also, tables and images are to come soon.

P.S. As I wrote above, there were some issues with events binding and inner toolbars, these issues are most likely related to un-DOM-ful original coding style and to the asynchronous initialization of the iframe. If anyone can tell how to fight that issue (the editor area isn't visible in initComponent and onRender methods) - we'd highly appreciate that.

By the way, it's not working on IE 7. There is JS error, I suppose that there is comma at the end of some config.
In Google Chrome textarea for a second allow you to enter text and then stay disabled. In FF 3.0 window doesn't open at all!

As for IE7 - thanks, we'll test it... but as for FF3, it has been tested there, and, though it has some typical Ext display issues, at least it works there.

it doesn't work very well in fx3. There is a problem with the size of the internal panel for the editor window

yeah, that's what I meant when I was talking about "display issues", and the same problem is within the link prompt which has no iframes or anything like that - so I think there might be some Ext-related issue...
