Possibility of scroll the text of the news using maxLengthBeforeScrolling parameter from the cfg object.
The parameters represent the number of character before it should start scrolling.

Hi there,

I've just created a very simple component you can use to render news like in the BBC website (the "latest news" that keep scrolling over and over again on the top bar).

I need to come up with a better description for the component.

FYI, the example is also using an extension kindly provided by Condor (CalcRecord).

Anyway, I hope it can be "useful".

I'd suggest putting a screenshot up and/or a demo page somewhere so that people can see what this is w/o downloading and installing it.

Yeah, I agree with you, I must definitely create a screenshot and maybe I could issue a demo page somewhere, also with the other examples...and I need to find a better description for the component as well.

I have just updated my extension with the possibility to scroll the news after a max number of characters are displayed.
