ExtJS 2.0 Application: Snippet Repository

I have created an ExtJS application, and I call it snippet repository. And developers can share their snippets. It was developed by ExtJS 2.2 and Struts 2.0, and an IntelliJ IDEA plugin also was developed to make snippet using much easy. You can find all source code at http://code.google.com/p/esnippet. The database is based on MySQL, if you want to install it for yourself, and you can contact me. :) I will also update database schema into subversion.

When creating a snippet, the 'Key Words' field is required. I guess the search function must be based on the 'Key Words'.
I think it'd be better if you adopt Lucene to support full-text searching.

I would like to use this concept on my site. I use Microsoft AJAX and SQL Server and would like to take the ui and convert to this target environment. I am new to open source and would like to understand what the requirements are for doing this.
