Shindig with GXT Portal

Hi there,

We are looking into making GXT portal compatible with open social standards so that we can seamlessly integrate the various gadgets available at igoogle and to develop our gadgets which could be displayed in igoogle and the GXT portal. I understand that shindig helps us to achieve this kind of interoparability by enabling to render the gadget.xml definitions in any gadget server onto the gxt portlets.

Is there any references for a gxt portal - Shindig integration?

Any comments are welcome, please let me know about your thoughts on the same.

Yes, i have my deliverable planned for release this month.

All you need to do is insert the iframe html into one the div inside the portlet.

And make sure you port all javascript code in the sample shindig codes to gwt to avoid confusing bugs due to javascript->java object translation issues.
