Couldn't be more simple and yet I can't get the darn thing to stay centerred
I feel like I've tried everything two or three times and.....lil help please

Grid looks centered to me.

You really need to upgrade the 1.0 code - you'll find very little support for .33 anymore. Are you trying to center the grid in background or on the page?

I guess I mean centerred within the background image.
It throws the background off. You see almost a squiggle if you run vertically down the page.

I hit the css files linked, widths seem to mesh together OK in the page and....I'm missing something painfully obvious....bugging me. I was hoping a set of fresh eyes would see the error.

Re-upgrade. I have and love Jack's work. However, this works(the actual grid working) very well for me and I'm comfy with it and.....I'll use the upgrade for some other stuff.

I got lazy and bought a template(background) for the first time and ....just can't figure out the centerring there.

It's not EXT it's your padding. heh. the td style should be set as such: padding: 0px 125px 0px 150px; height: 410px;

i found the problem easily by using firebug's inspect feature. dual monitors pwn. going for 3 soon.

Nice to see a 'real' application. Your sorting isn't quite right. It is alphabetic rather than numeric for 'rank', 'TDs' ?

=; doesn't look like a 'real' application to me. looks very much beta and not in production. have you read extjs.com?

I'm just playing trying to learn here.
I did eventually get that centerred and all but never really did find out how to fix the sorting. I just left it.
My time is limitted and there's so much to learn within Jack's classes I feel like I have to pick and choose to learn how to do this or that and don't have the time to learn everything. (2year old daughter, a son on the way etc). I guess sorting wasn't at the top of my list
