Hi
Can I get some more details on extjs 3.0? Would the charts require Adobe flash plugin ?
I am trying to see if this is a good fit for my open source project.
Thanks

charting with stock Ext is using Flash. There's a user extension using FLOT without flash.

Thanks.

What are the licensing terms for these extensions in general. Do they follow the same GPL and dual licensing capabilities ? It would be nice to coordinate licenses .. so people do not have to keep on thinking while picking each extension.

I think flash plugin requirement should not be mandatory. Any other part of extjs 3.x that requires flash plugin ? Is there a page where I can find this information.

Thanks
/Jd

Extensions are offered by the community. Requiring people to contribute an extension only under particular licensing would be unreasonable IMO.

Ext 3 is still in svn. The docs (for Ext 3) shows class hierarchy, so would show what depends on FlashComponent.

To get access to svn you need subscription:
http://extjs.com/store/extjs/#support-table

Ext 3 allegedly debuts mid April.

kind of strange... at least the doc..should have been made available to everyone.
Can anyone else share this information if they have downloaded.
I know extjs would be available mid-april.. but want to decide on our webstack before that.

Thanks

Negative. The Docs are still under development as well, not to mention there are lots of details about the framework that have yet to be unveiled. Why release docs for a product before its out?
