Hello.
As some of you may or may not know, I was laid off from my job back in November and suddenly had no professional reason to stay involved with Ext since everything I had done up to that point was work related (I never even signed onto the forums from home). However I had alot of fun working with Ext and would like to be involved again. I find that I need to have some kind of work related or personal reason to keep my motivation level up, so I would like to find an open source project to join if anyone is aware of any that need assistance. I could also start a project of my own, but as yet have not noticed a hole in any market area that I feel could be filled by a Ext based product. And since I am still out of work I would also consider commercial for-profit work, either local to the greater Seattle WA area or via telecommute, but that is the least preferable option at this time.
So I am looking forward to any ideas anyone might happen to have, and to getting back into this fine product :)

One suggestion might be to try to re-energize the ux repo movement. There's been talk about making a GUI "list" where anyone could publish pointers to current extensions, plugins, examples, etc.

phpMyAdmin ought to get a remake of the UI with ExtJS. Both are GPL, so it is a natural fit.
