Hey guys, congratulations on selling out the conference!!! You might want to modify the 'sign up' icon on the top right of the page :)

This is totally NOT awesome... :(
I just got the OK to join in the ExtConference from my Project-Team-Leader yesterday, so that I could sign up today and now this!!! Weeks and weeks of overtime and now it's sold out... f*ck! :(

I beg to disagree. It's great to have their very first conference sold out within weeks of its announcement. This is *HUGE*

Of course it's awesome for the Ext-Team and the whole Community! =D>

For me, personal, it's... well... apparently NO week in Florida paid by my boss... :((

Bad luck :( Wouldn't hurt to shoot off an email just in case, I guess.

msnajdr,

Please don't fret, we planned for a few extra "last last minute" sign ups. Unfortunately, the team wasn't be able to locate your sign up. Are you using the same forum account to register?

We want everyone to have a great time. We are hoping to keep our first conference intimate. For many of us, its the first time meeting face to face - including many members of Ext.

Lastly, we have some pretty exciting news coming out... the kinda news that needs some homepage real estate. ;)

Glad to hear this :D
Yes, I used the same account this morning and tried again a few minutes ago.
But I don't know, if it worked, the POST-Request returned empty according to Firebug and I'm not able to select any sessions.
I also wrote an email as you suggested in your PM.

Guess that rules out me showing up at the last minute. Funds have been tight at the moment anyway. Would love to go back and visit orlando though, lived there for 9 years.

I've opened up registration per Abe's request. For those that tried to register earlier today, please try again. Space is extremely limited, but we will try to accommodate those who register today and tomorrow. I look forward to meeting everyone. What an awesome turn out!

Just curious... how many spots were allocated to begin with? 300? 1000?

I guess 200.

The attendees page is an Ext page.

If yoiu go into Firebug, and type

attendees.length

You see how many attendees there are.;)

We had originally planned for 75 -100 attendees in hopes of keeping the conference personal. As we start to approach 200, the conference hotel is unable to accommodate any more guests - hence selling out on such short notice.

Any chance on an early release of Ext 3.0 to those of us who can't make it? :) I'm far from Florida and it's snowing... Oh well.
