Usermap for the forum

i would it find very interesting to see where forum user located on the world. which are located near to me and so on.

Does the Ext team think about to include for example a google map to show the user location. of course only for the user how like this. i think i would be very impressive for the extjs community with over 70000 regsitert board users.

i found that there already plugins for vbulltin exist.


what do you think about this idea ?

Speaking as a moderator, I think that a large proportion of the 70000 are attempted spammers! ;)

The plugin would have to filter out banned users. Possibly add an option to filter by minimum number of posts.

But yes, it would be very interesting.

Banned users are included in the count.

Installing plugins to vbulletin are a security risk.

Speaking of vBulletin, one thing I'd love to see done to this site is adding this to the post template:

<a href="javascript:void(null);" onclick="scrollTo(0,0);">Top</a>

Gives you a link at the top of each post "Top" that takes you to the top of the page. I'd put it to the left of the post date/time.
