We plan to move to GWT 1.6 when GXT2.0 is fully released. The current 2.0 release is tagged M1. I assume that this means "Milestone 1". In general, what is the status of 2.0? Will there be additional milestone releases? Will the next release be the final release? Is 2.0 M1 deemed to be sufficiently stable for production use? Sorry for so many questions. We really like GXT. Definitely looking forward to installing and looking at the examples. Thanks!

I can't answer your questions, I'll leave that to the GXT team. But you can view the samples now:

yes

In general, what is the status of 2.0?
it has been released for testing and validation - SVN users have had access to early builds of 2.0 for a while whilst new features were coded.

Will there be additional milestone releases? Will the next release be the final release?
When its solid and few bugs exists it will go GA.

Is 2.0 M1 deemed to be sufficiently stable for production use?
You could (and should) start coding against it now, but I'd recommend against using it in a production sense (ie don't just take a fully working 1.2.x GXT application and migrate immediately to 2.0 and expect it to be 100% fine - things have changed and need testing.

No problems.
