How to debug JSON data?

I'm using ScriptTagProxy and returning JSON data to my grid. I don't see any errors in firebug and I've looked at the JSON records in firebug which don't seem to have any issues. The problem is that my grid is not displaying all the records returned.

I found my problem. my record id's were duplicated in the JSON request. My grid displayed all the records once I made them unique.
