Hi all,

i've released the Ext.Direct plugin for struts 2 at:
http://code.google.com/p/extdirectj-s2-plugin/

With this lib you can plublish your method using annotation and the server will inspect your class and build the right api response to the client.

Any comment are appreciate.

If someone is interested to help to improve (a lot of improvement needed :)) ) contact me.

I just read the source of extdirectj.jar, It is simple but useful, thanks very much for sharing the lib.

There must be something we have to configure in our struts.xml for this to work, right? I redeployed my Struts 2 application with the jar in WEB-INF/lib without any configuration changes, but when I pointed my browser to http://mydomwain:myport/mywebapp/extdirectj/ExtDirectJRouter.action, I got an NPE.

it.extdirectj.core.ExtDirectJRouter.execute(ExtDirectJRouter.java:26)

Line 26 of http://extdirectj-s2-plugin.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/it/extdirectj/core/ExtDirectJRouter.java is an annotation on an unrelated method, so I guess the JAR I downloaded was compiled from some other source. What should I do next?

Yes, the jar that you have downloaded is built on a old release.
If you want the correct sources you need to checkout the r3 version (http://code.google.com/p/extdirectj-s2-plugin/source/detail?r=3).
I was making several changes to the plugin to add features and make it even more integrated with struts (Interceptors, injection, etc. ..) but I had to stop for lack of time.
However last month I was able to get back to work soon and I should be able to release a new version.

Hi ,

Do we have some standard for using Jquery buy levitra online (http://www.1st-levitra-pharmacy.com) and JS frameworks other than DOJO like EXT / YUI with struts 2 . Integration of JQUery in struts 2 will really give it a advantage over spring MVC
