Showing a details grid

I am new to extjs, and programming for that matter, and for the past few days I have been trying to display a details grid from a selection of a row in a master grid. I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction.

I have already added a listner to the mastergrid I seem to be stuck on where to go from there. please help.

Did you go thru the tutorials? Look at the javascript newbies thread at the top of forum? Ext isn't something you want to take on without learning the basics of programming in general, in addition to javascript and web development.
