Using Safari 4 and Chrome double clicking on a row inside a grid gets the whole grid selected. Reproducible on demo site http://extjs.com/examples-dev/explorer.html#columngrouping

Could you please provide a link to the open bug report because with version 2.0.1 the bug still exists. Thanks.

I know that it Safari support is planned for 2.1 but how long will this be?

This issue didn't occur in 1.2.4.

I am developing for an office that runs entirely on Mac, what I am supposed to do in the interim when Firefox renders too slowly?

Cheers,

Jim

I still see this on Safari.

when I double click on the cell in a grid in Safari I don't see that the event is being fired.

Is this fixed or is there a patch for this ?

Thanks

Well, not that good, but may help, add a double click listener and call this method:

private native void clearSelection()/*-{
var sel;
if($doc.selection && $doc.selection.empty)
$doc.selection.empty();
else if($wnd.getSelection)
{
sel=$wnd.getSelection();
if(sel && sel.removeAllRanges)
sel.removeAllRanges() ;
}
}-*/;
