View Full Version : Grouped CheckItems should use the 2.x radio icons instead of what there is now.

It only makes sense since the single check Item uses the 2.x Check icons.

The current Single and grouped CheckItems look like:

It should use these.

One good thing about writing Ext JS in Action (http://manning.com/garcia) is that it's forcing a fresh look at just about every aspect of the framework, which sparks up lots of ideas for improvement.

I'm not sure if I agree.

Windows also doesn't use radiobutton images for grouped menu items. It uses a simple dot just like Ext is doing now (I assume that Ext was modeled after Windows).

When you use radiobutton images the menu could look too crowded with an icon before every item.

Condor, you're right. Not being a windows vista/7 native user I didn't realize this. Did some research and found out what i dislike of it. The bullet is just plain and 'flat'. I think it needs to be more 3d then.
