[CLOSED] Getting widgets by id on a page

I'm sure this is documented or has been answered in the past, but I couldn't find it.

I'm migrating our app from GWT-Ext to ext-GWT and need to be able to get widgets on the page by name.

GWT-Ext had a GWT.getCmp(String) method call to do this. How do I do this with ext-GWT?

OK, more information.

After looking at the API some more, I noticed that Component is part of ext-GWT as well. Therefore the actual question would have been. How do I get a Component by name/id?

Found it.

ComponentManager.get(String), retrieves a component by id.

GXT has a ComponentManager. THere you can get the component by componentid, or even the class. I suggest to take a look at that.
