View Full Version : Error in Firefox when enabling "trackMouseOver" in EditorGrid

When "trackMouseOver" is set to "true" in EditorGrid. Clicking the cell to enter "editor mode" will cause error in Firefox:

[Exception... "'Permission denied to get property HTMLDivElement.nodeType' when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

Both 1.0.1a and 1.1 Beta 1 have this problem in Firefox. However, it is fine in IE.

I see the same with Ext 2.0 alpha. The latest bug track dialog at the link provided by Tim indicates the Firefox development team is pointing a finger at Firebug.

trackMouseOver is not supported in EditorGridPanel, and has been removed in the docs.
