Hi,
here is a twitter plugin that works in 3 modes:
1) user profile
2) search (words or tags)
3) public timeline
The labels are configurable, so it's no problem to have localization. Also there is an interval for reload. Remark: to prevent blocking from twitter.com the reload interval is min. 35 sec.
