I am trying to drop a HTML into grid.....
The problem is, how can i insert the html element into the correct position...
help me in getting the drop location from DragDrop event........

You can get the drop target using getTarget(dropEvent) but that's not the same as inserting a HTML element? What are you trying to achieve here? Insert a HTML element in a grid, or drag 'n drop something onto the grid and get to know exactly on what part of the grid the drop was made. There is an example for just that in the API. See the DD chapter in the API documentation.

actually i am not going to insert html into grid....
I want know where the drop target is dropped inside the grid...
say ,for example, target element(html for me) is dropped between 3 rd and 4 th row of the grid....

Drag and drop feature request - Operation.NONE

On drop I may dont want to copy or move anything. I may just need some info about the dropped element and the target. By now I have to set Operation.COPY and overwrite the onDragDrop method to achieve that. This is not a nice solution. You may put Operation.NONE in addition to Operation.MOVE and Operation.COPY.
