Passing other data in File Uploading

Hello All :D
I'm uploading files normally through Ext GWT FormPanel submmit. But when happen the POST request I want to pass other data besides the file. I want to persist the file in the database and relate that data with the file. how can I do this?
Is it possible pass an object besides the file in the submit? if not, is it possible pass some value, like a string?

I'm wanting pass the data in same requisition of file because if I pass after (in another requisition) I will lost the file reference.

I did a workaround for this.
I read out the data from the field and pass it via url to the server:

Client code:



panel.setAction("uploadData?userName=BLAUser");




panel.setAction(panel.getAction() + "&type=" + combo.getSelection().get(0).getValue());


I hope others can use that...

You can add some hidden inputs (HiddenField) to the form. These fields can contain the data.
