Actualy, we are in the final phase of ExtJs (JSF)ication. We wrote all ExtJs Jsf Component such dataGrid, Layout, Dialogs, TabPanel, Form elements.
In order to intercat with JSF lifecycle, we use ExtJs dataSource, handlers and fns in collaboration with j2ee4all-jsf and Ajax4Jsf. First release (end of July).
I hope that this will help you to build quickly your applications based on JSF and ExtJs widgets and event handlers. If you are interested contact us m.loukili@qlogic.ma

I'm so sorry to be late.
Today, we created all ExtJs components using JSF component model like ButtonUI (ext.Button), DataGridUI (Ext.grid.Grid, Ext.grid.EditorGrid), DialogUI (Ext.BasicDialog), FormUI, LayoutUI, ContentPanelUI, ContainerUI ....
In another part, we added Ajax capabilities based on JSF lifecycle mecanism to be able to call JSF ActionListeners and rerender or update parts of your page without calling lot of JS.
The first release of ExtJs JSF (3th week of this month).
This release will contain a demo too.
The software is OpenSource following ExtJs license aggrement.
Today ExtJsf is under tests. track this thread, I'll give the link to download and try.

For period of time, it was accessible but now again it is not accessible.
BTW, is it really open source and released under LGPL license?
Because we cannot even see the entire source code structure for the demo application.
As an example we cannot see the packages like "com.qlogic.commons" in which there
are sub packages like "jsf.base", "jsf.utils" etc. where the base classes like "AbstractPageBean" are implemented.
We would really like to know about this ASAP.
Keep up the great work and Thanks a lot.

Lilya uses J2ee4all and J2ee4All-Jsf apis, developed and sponsored by Q-LOGIC (Lilya Home).
You can download them from Sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/j2ee4all
You will find all of those packages.
If you need more info, please open a topic at Lilya Forum.

Seems that the file j2ee4all-jsf-2.3.zip from Sourceforge is corrupted.
Edit : http://qlogic.ma/lilya/ doesn't work from here too

New J2ee4All release 2.3.1 is avalable at http://sourceforge/projects/j2ee4all
As an alternative for lilya downloads, this release contains lilya-1.0-beta-1 packages (including the demo).
For JDK 1.6 users: you must upgrade j2ee4all 2.3.1 jar file (j2ee4all.jar under dist)
Good luck.

i'm confused about the licensing structure myself.
You say it's open source, but you limit how you can use it using the open-source license.
Are you double licensing it : lgpl w/ restrictions + commercial license?
or are you triple licensing it : lgpl , your own opensource with restrictions , and commercial license.
IANAL, but I'm pretty sure the lgpl doesn't restrict which entities can use it, just the manner in which it is used.
Can you please clarify?
Thanks,
-a

Lilya Licensing options :
I - Open Source License (licensed under the terms of the Open Source LGPL 3.0 license) :
- If you want to use Lilya in an open source project that precludes using non-open source software
- Plan to use Lilya in a personal, educational or non-profit manner
II - Commercial License
- Do not want any of the potential restrictions of an open source license
- Must own a commercial license in order to satisfy your own internal software licensing requirements
- Want to support the Lilya project financially to ensure its continued success
Is approximatly the same as Ext Js.

Lilya has been created under ShareSource (http://sharesource.org).
There is a tutorial describing how to setup Lilya Demo (En version)
I hope that this helps you guys.
