Grouping Example

Hello guys, i come from a front end development background and have some experience of using Jquery.

I need to get a data grid like this working for a project:

Is this a paid for component? i have looked at the js file that is linked to in that example but it means nothing to me, can anyone point me in the direction of how to get something like that example up and running very very fast? or would i need to have a hight level of JavaScript to even consider doing something like that?

I am currently doing so, but you know how it is, my manager wants this done yesterday and i am learning the code as i go along.
