I thought some guys here would like to know that there is a very good example usage of Extjs. From the screenshot, there is also a textbox supporting intellisense.

Check out: http://kooboo.codeplex.com or http://www.kooboo.com

it does seem like the author(s) need some assistance with cleaning things up, such as border management

wow, good development on this one, it looks pretty advanced. Is the .codeplex site and the kooboo.com site on different CMS's?

codeplex is the open source site hosted by Microsoft. Kooboo.com is the Author's website.

On the codeplex homepage of kooboo (http://kooboo.codeplex.com), there is another very cool stuff, an online IDE.

That is the part I really liked as well. Drag and drop to make a form. Nicely done.

I love how this is the original poster's very first post. I wonder if he/she is part of the company.

I think people here agreed that it is a nice resource to check out, Kooboo does a very good job with EXTJS and a lot of extension work.

It is not who I am matters, it is what I said counts.

This is my first time here, in the future, you will see me more here. I do like extjs very much and just like to be a regular community users posting.

Admin of this forum should be able to check my identity if he wants.

I am going to evaluate this CMS, it is enough mature like joomla or drupal?
Is there some examples or link where I can read about use extjs with Joomla or drupal?

I am begging to work with CMS now, and I would like to use my experience with extjs, which is the more appropriate CMS to customize using Extjs any advice is welcome.

Best regards
Frank

I am not fully understand your question. Joomla & Drupal has many years of history. This is a new framework with less mature as J&D, but stable enough for production website.

J&D are based on PHP, this is based on ASP.NET, and can run directly under Windows XP IIS5.1 as well.

Extjs is a framework, you need knowledge to use it. Kooboo CMS uses EXTJS as the CMS UI, but kooboo CMS is final product, you do not need to understand EXTJS to use it.

It seems that there is excessive over nesting of Panels, etc.

maybe they bought a license to do so?:-?

I do not think they need to mention anything about EXTJS, they do not need any license neither. The LGPL grant them the rights to use it for free, free modification, free for everything. Although it can be better for Kooboo to give some credit back to EXTJS for such a great JS UI.

Except that ExtJS is available under the GPL license. LGPL is considerably different. And of course a commercial license is available.
