Hi,

I have a rendering problem with Firefox 3.5.2, the app works in IE 7, Google Chrome and in hosted browser mode.
I have a Viewport (MainView) that divides the screen in a static and dynamic section, the right (dynamic) section uses a CardPanel to display different widgets.

When I try to display a custom Widget derived from LayoutContainer the Widget will be displayed half a sec and then disappears, but only in firefox.
When I try to add a simple button inside a LayoutContainer it works.
When I add a HBoxLayout to the above LayoutContainer it doesn't work anymore, here's an example:

public class MainView extends Viewport {
...
public MainView() {
...
LayoutContainer lc = new LayoutContainer();
HBoxLayout hb = new HBoxLayout();
hb.setHBoxLayoutAlign(HBoxLayoutAlign.TOP);
lc.setLayout(hb);
lc.add(new Button("test"));
add(lc);
}
}
The button will "blink" when I open the site in Firefox, all other mentioned browser display the button correctly, and if I add the button directly or omit the HBoxLayout it works in Firefox.

I don't have a clue what the problem is, I hope somebody can help me.

Regards,
EnCey

In case somebody has the same problem:
I replaced HBoxLayout with RowLayout and everything works now.
